May I know is GoInsurance cover flight CANCELLATION on the spot without any notice? You may say Airasia staff call me. Please proof it, I do not receive any call, sms or even email from AirAsia at all. I'm not the only victim, Benjamin (loke@sunjiang.com) also one of the victim of the same flight. Thank god I keep his email to proof I'm not lying!

Just let us know if GoInsurance do not cover this, fine than case close. We are little Malaysian, we can't fight with big guns. We just want the fair treatment. Already 3 months I just want you tell me CONFIRM That FLIGHT CANCELLATION on the spot (mean reach airport) do not cover any claims. Please don't tell me the flight RETIME, is CANCEL without our notice! Do you mean RETIME no need to inform the passengers?

We have studied carefully into the claim documents submitted and note that you are claiming for flight delay due to your flights being rescheduled by AirAsia Berhad due to operational reasons.

We wish to highlight that Clause (e) of Special Exclusions under Section 2 (d) of the policy states that the Company shall not be liable for any loss arising from cancellation or rescheduling of the Scheduled Flight unless due to natural disaster or equipment failure.

However, we note that you were pre-informed about the rescheduling of the flights on the 15th May 2010. In other words; it meant that these flights were rescheduled not due to any of the insured events which are unpredictable circumstances as mentioned above.

As such, we regret to inform you that the policy will not respond to your claim.

Kindly we attached the policy wording for your perusal.

I was not preinform. Neither me nor Jackie receive call from AirAsia. I keep telling, I did not receive. Please ask AirAsia to provide the evidence. Last time I did receive email + sms or call. But this time I do not receive any email / call or sms. Talk is no use, please ask them provide it.

Benjamin can confirm what I say is true. We do not know each other until we meet in the airport. My friend that went to Beijing 1 week after that also facing the same problem. He also one of the victim that Airasia do not call for the flight Cancel.

Why you keep say I had preinform? Did you mean I trying to lie you and AirAsia is not? AirAsia make the mistake and you will just feel we are trying to lie to get the claims? Again, show us the proof that Airasia did inform us. I believe Airasia can how us their phone bill to proof whether Airasia did inform us or not? If they can't reach us, should they email and sms us right?

AirAsia did inform me the RETIME from Sat 15 May 2010, 0040 hrs to Sat 15 May 2010, 0830. But did not inform us the flight cancel and change it to Sun 16 May 2010, 0830 only when we reach the airport. OK?

Lucky I found the pictures I took in the airport. Is the picture good enough to proof that I'm not lying?

Bad example how to claim GoInsurance from AirAsia flight cancel

Lesson learn: 
1. Your flight cancel without notice even you reach the airport (on the spot), make sure you get the proof letter on the spot but not get it later. You never know when you can get the letter.

2. Make sure the letter mention your flight is DELAY but not CANCEL. If cancel, you will not get a cent from GoInsurance. GoInsurance will only give back the amount you pay for the Insurance.

3. Make sure you purchase an Insurance that cover FLIGHT CANCEL without notice, CONFIRM GoInsurance had remove this from their policy. Why? I think you should know the reason.

4. Make sure you records the conversation with AirAsia people, they might tell GoInsurance your flight is RETIME but not CANCEL!

5. Make sure you chase GoInsurance, they might say your case under investigation even after 2 to 3 months.

Finally, I call them and request them to call me back every time. The answer is, my flight is cancel but not delay. The fact is my flight cancel without notice, and reschedule to 2nd day. 
GoInsurance no longer have the policy to claim for this. They ask me to call AirAsia to get the new letter again. I told them you are much more easier to reach them. There is no way we can call them at all. After 10 minutes, MPIB call me back, they say AirAsia say my flight is RETIME not cancel! 
Hurray, flight cancel on the spot mean RETIME not CANCEL. 

No wonder GoInsurance and AirAsia work so well. Be smart next time...
